Andre Williams has just signed on for a Camp Bacon kickoff show, Friday night, June 18. Tickets are $15 and available at the Roadhouse or online. Show starts at 9pm, doors at 8:30. Roadhouse food and drink will be available!
Andre came to national prominence with the chart-topping hit “Bacon Fat” in 1957 and he has a new album, Can You Deal With It?, from Bloodshot Records and a new novel, Sweets.
Fresh off an early summer European tour, Andre’s Roadhouse appearance will be his second stop this year in SE Michigan. A Detroit native, Andre played a sold out show at the Park Bar in Detroit on March 20. According to co-owner Jerry Belanger, Andre rocked the house in top form, people were blown away by what a great performer he is and had a ton of fun. Kind of show they talked about for days afterward.
